LIVE SITE
Janie Wunderlich (my sister) and Caleb — a private wedding site for family, wedding party, and guests.
THE PROBLEM
Zola and The Knot wedding sites are functional but identical — cookie-cutter templates, ad-heavy, and slow on the cellular connections most rural guests actually use. Janie wanted something editorial, fast, and truly private, with a real RSVP flow instead of a Google Form.
THE APPROACH
- Editorial design with custom typography and a motion-rich single-page layout — no ads, no upsells.
- Custom RSVP flow with meal preferences + plus-one handling, backed by Supabase and confirmation emails via Resend + React Email templates.
- Guestbook surface for well-wishes before and after the event.
- QR-coded invite assets (generated via the qrcode library) for the printed invitations.
