Wunderlich Web

Your website, built by someone who answers the phone.

I build custom websites for local businesses in lakes country. No templates. No runaround. When something breaks, you call me — and I fix it.

Three things, done well.

01.

Custom Websites

Designed and built from scratch to match your business. Not a theme. Not a template. Fast, accessible, and yours.

02.

Redesigns & Rebuilds

Breathing new life into sites that are slow, outdated, or simply not converting. Migrations from WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or wherever you're stuck.

03.

Web Apps & Tools

When a brochure site isn't enough — booking systems, member portals, custom calculators, integrations. I build the complicated parts so you don't have to.

Four steps. No guesswork.

From first call to launch usually runs 2–5 weeks depending on package. Here's exactly what happens at each stage so you know what you're signing up for.

    01.

    Discovery call

    Week 0 · 30 minutes

A short call — phone or video, whichever you prefer. We talk about your business, what you want the site to do, and whether I'm the right fit. No pitch, no pressure. You'll leave with a clear recommendation even if we don't work together.

    02.

    Proposal & deposit

    Week 1

I send a fixed-price proposal with a scope, timeline, and payment schedule. 50% deposit to start, the rest on launch. No retainers, no surprise invoices. You sign, I start.

    03.

    Design & build

    Weeks 1–4

I share a preview link within a few days and keep updating it as I build. You see the site take shape in real time — no big reveal, no wasted rounds. I ask for feedback at two checkpoints: after the homepage and before launch.

    04.

    Launch & care

    Launch day + ongoing

I handle DNS, hosting, SSL, analytics, and Google Business Profile setup. When something breaks — or you want a change — you call me. Cabin Care keeps the site healthy month to month, optional but most clients keep it.

Honest numbers. No surprises.

Three tiers, two care plans, a handful of add-ons. If you need something bigger — e-commerce at scale, a custom web app, a SaaS MVP — we'll step up to my other brand, Sardonyx Software.

NEED SOMETHING BIGGER?

Custom web apps, SaaS MVPs, or enterprise e-commerce are the wheelhouse of my other brand — Sardonyx Software. Same Jesse, bigger toolkit. Reach out either way and I'll put you where you belong.

Things folks ask before we start.

If you've got a question that isn't here, just ask. The contact form gets a reply within one business day.

How long does it take to build a site?

Porch Page: about 5 business days. Front Door: 2–3 weeks. Storefront: 3–5 weeks. Timelines start after the deposit and once I have your content. If you're in a rush, tell me — I can often move faster.

Do I own the website when it's done?

Yes. You own the domain, the content, the code, and the hosting account. I set everything up in your name. If you ever want to leave, you take everything with you — no hostage situation.

How many revisions do I get?

Unlimited during the build. I'd rather get it right than rush. Once the site launches, small edits are included with Cabin Care. Bigger changes (new pages, new features) are quoted separately so you always know the cost up front.

What if I already have a website?

I do redesigns and rebuilds all the time — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, whatever you're stuck on. I handle the migration, preserve your SEO, and redirect the old URLs so you don't lose traffic.

Why don't you build on WordPress?

Most small-business sites on WordPress end up with a dozen plugins, a theme that stops updating, and a yearly maintenance surprise. I build on Next.js and deploy to Vercel — the same modern stack used by Nike, TikTok, and Target.com. That means faster page loads, better Google scores, no plugin roulette, and a lower monthly care plan than most WordPress shops charge. If you already have a WordPress site and want out, I migrate you cleanly and redirect your old URLs so you keep your SEO.

Who handles hosting and the domain?

I do. Hosting is included in Cabin Care. If you already own the domain, great — I'll connect it. If you don't, I'll help you register one in your name (you own it, not me).

Do you work outside of Minnesota lakes country?

Sometimes. Most of my clients are within a two-hour drive of Frazee because I like to meet in person when it helps. For bigger software work (SaaS, custom apps, e-commerce), I take on projects anywhere through Sardonyx Software, my parent company.

What's Cabin Care?

Monthly maintenance — software updates, backups, security patches, small content edits, performance monitoring, and priority email access. Think of it like a snow plow contract for your website. Optional, but most clients keep it.

How do payments work?

Two ways to pay. The usual path: 50% deposit to start, 50% on launch — I send a Stripe invoice, pay with card or ACH. The self-serve path: use the 'Skip the call · pay in full' link on any pricing card to pay the full package price up front through Stripe Checkout. Either way, no retainers, no hidden fees. Cabin Care is billed monthly on the first, pausable anytime.

FOUNDER · FRAZEE, MN

I've been building things on the internet since I was a teenager. Along the way, I founded Nova Net Worth (a financial SaaS) and Sardonyx Software (a software agency). I live in Frazee with my wife Charlotte, our son Dewey, and — by summer — our daughter Amy.

Wunderlich Web is the local version of what I do. I'm a service-disabled Marine Corps veteran, and I build every website the way I was trained to do anything worth doing: with discipline, follow-through, and my name on the work.
